10. Soft X-ray Sources
Soft X-rays (in the range of 1-10 nm) are an alternative to EUV for some advanced applications. While not used for high-volume manufacturing, these sources are in top demand for scientific research, particularly in materials science and microscopy, where they are used to probe the structure and composition of matter at the nanoscale.
